Notice Of Making Of An Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife And Countryside Act 1981 The County Council Of Durham (Public Footpaths Nos1, 7 And 9 Cornsay Parish) Public Footpath Diversion And Deftninve Map And Statement Modification Order 2022

The above order, made on 17 June 2022, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will Divert a section of Public Footpath No. 1 Cornsay Parish from a point west-south-west of Cornsay House Farm, proceeding in a generally east-north-easterly direction across a field to the field corner to a line running north-easterly then south easterly to the same point in the field corner, divert a section of Public Footpath no. 1 Cornsay Parish from a point west of Cornsay House Farm, proceeding in a generally easterly direction passing to the south of the farm and to the road corner to a more southerly line between the same points, following the field edges, divert Public Footpath No. 7 Cornsay Parish from a point north-east of the farm, proceeding in a south-westerly direction to the farm buildings to a line running from the same point north-west of the farm and proceeding in a generally westerly direction to the north of the farm, crossing Footpath No. 9 and to a point on the new route of Footpath No. 1 west of the farm, and divert a section of Public Footpath No. 9 Cornsay Parish close to the far buildings to a slightly more easterly route to avoid a building, as shown on the order map. The above order will also modify the Definitive Map and Statement of the Public Rights of Way for County Durham by deleting and adding the footpaths described. A copy of the order and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the at Fsh Winning library during normal opening hours and via the Council website.

The above order will also modify the Definitive Map and Statement of the Public Rights of Way for County Durham by deleting and adding the footpaths described. (ref: 33641) not later than 21 July 2022. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the County Council of Durham may confirm the order as an unopposed order.
