NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) PARISH OF FALSTONE PUBLIC FOOTPATHS NUMBERS 10, 23, 24 & 40 (EMERGENCY PUBLIC FOOTPATH CLOSURE)

ORDER 2021 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on Parish of Falstone Public Footpaths No 10, 23, 24 & 40 in the County of Northumberland. The lengths of Public Footpaths No 10, 23, 24 & 40, which are affected are as follows:-Public Footpath No 10

From a point on the east side of C200 road, 506 metres south of Craggy Burn, in a north easterly direction for a distance of 536 metres, to the junction with Public Footpath No 23. Public Footpath No 23

From a point on the east side of C200 road at the Craneclough Burn crossing, in a general easterly, then northerly direction, for a distance of 10,089 metres, to a point 520 metres north of the Hawkhirst Burn on the C200 road. Public Footpath No 24

From a point 225 metres southeast of the C200 road at Hawkhirst Burn, in a general easterly, then southerly, then westerly direction, for a distance of 2274 metres, to the junction with Public Footpath No 23 at Hawkhirst Burn. Public Footpath No 40

From a point on the east side of C200 road, 390 metres north of Linns Plantation, in an easterly direction for a distance of 232 metres, to the junction with Public Footpath No 23. The Order is to be effective from the 28th December 2021 until 28th June 2022 There is no alternative route available. The closures have been requested by the Northumbrian Water PLC in the interests of public safety due to fallen trees. Dated this 23rd day of December 2021.
