NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) PARISH OF HORSLEY PUBLIC FOOTPATH NUMBER 11 (TEMPORARY PUBLIC FOOTPATH CLOSURE)

ORDER 2021 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council Intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on the Parish of Horsley Public Footpath No 11 for the length outlined below, in the County of Northumberland.

The lengths of Public Footpath No 11 which is affected is as follows:-Parish of Horslev Public Footpath No 11 From a point 35 metres south of the A69 at the entrance to Whittle Farm, in a westerly then southerly direction, for a distance of 820 metres, to a point 65 metres east of the Whittle Burn at the junction with Horsley Public Footpath No 10. The Order is to be effective from the 22nd November 2021 until 13th December 2021.. The alternative route for pedestrians is available from a point 35 metres south of the A69 following Horsley Public Footpath No 8 in a southerly direction for a distance of 230 metres then in a general south westerly direction through Whittle Farm for a distance of 630 metres, following Public Footpath No 10. The closure has been requested by The Woodland Trust in the interests of public safety to make repairs to an unstable cliff which supports Public Footpath No 11. Dated this 11th day of November 2021.
