BEGLEY Patrick Leslie George In memory of the late Patrick Leslie George Begley. Born 4th May 1929. A very proud Londoner who hailed from the East End. He sadly left us on the 16th October 2020, after a long and fruitful life. He was a proud soldier serving in the Royal Horse Artillery after the war during his national service. He was affectionately known as "Pat the Potter" by those who were lucky enough to be taught pottery and ceramics under his safe and guiding hands. He was a lifelong West Ham fan who spent many match days at his old stomping ground of Upton Park. Patrick was a very proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a loving and caring husband. He also had the qualities of integrity, discipline, honesty and thoughtfulness towards others in abundance. His Christian faith was incredibly important to him and provided him with much support throughout his life. Although he has now left us, he will never be forgotten by his family and those people in his life who loved him and cared for him. Rest in peace.
