ELLIOT John Leslie (Alston) Methodist Local Preacher Died on 17th June at home, aged 95 years, John, treasured husband of Mary and the late Winnie, beloved father of Ruth, Stephen and Alan, a dearly loved father-in-law, granda and great-grandad. Funeral at St Augustine's Church, Alston on Friday 1st July at 11 a.m. followed by refreshments. All friends invited. Private cremation. Family flowers only but donations in memory of John may be made to MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) and/or Open Doors UK serving persecuted Christians.
