CAIRNS Alan Peacefully in Hexham General Hospital on 14th July 2021, Alan, beloved husband of Philomena. Much loved dad of Maria and Judith, father-in-law of Stuart and Tony and grandpa of Matt, Jenny and Rebecca. Funeral service to be held at St Mary's RC Church, Hexham, on Tuesday 27th July at 12.00pm, followed by cremation at West Road Crematorium at 1.30pm. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Alan to Parkinson's UK.

So sorry and sad to hear of Alans death. he was a great friend and colleague to dad - Rick Hudson, and we all spent many happy times together in the great outdoors. Our condolences to Phil, Maria, Judith and the rest of the family. Dawn (Hudson) , Blair & Rowan

Very saddened to read of Alan's death. He was a man of great warmth, friendship, fun and a teller of so many stories as well as the first man to teach me canoeing in the Dodd Reservoir in 1972. It's an honour to have been a colleague in the outdoor service. Our thoughts and prayers are with Phil, Maria, Judith and all the family.
