WATSON Frances (nee Ferguson) Ryton. Died on 18th June 2020 aged 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Maurice, cherished mother of the late Jill, dearly loved sister of Martha, Evelyn and the late Jean and Joseph. Dearest aunty, sister-in-law and a dear friend. A Private family cremation will take place at West Road Crematorium, Newcastle. Family flowers only, Donations in lieu if desired to SCOPE.

I met Frances and her late husband Maurice in 2011 when my son moved in next door to them. They were a wonderful couple, and after Maurices death I got very close to Frances. She was a fabulous and intelligent lady with a sense of humour and a kind and loving temperament, and we shared many happy times chatting. I will miss her greatly and regret that Covid 19 lockdown meant I had not been able to see her for several months. I would have liked to pay my respects, but at this time it isn't possible. RIP my dear friend. I hope Maurice and Jill are waiting in Heaven for you xx
