HARRISON Charles Ingoe Peacefully in hospital on 28th May 2020 aged 93. Charlie, beloved husband of the late Veronica, much love father of John, Nick and Susan a loved and devoted grandad and great-grandad. Dear companion to Sheilagh. Private Service and Cremation at Newcastle West Road Crematorium. No flowers by request, donations may be given in Charlie's memory to Great North Air Ambulance c/o Dodd's of Hexham NE46 2EW.

My Mum and I are very sorry to hear about Charlie and send our deepest condolences. My Grandma Nancy used to work for Mrs Harrison and looked after Charlie when he was a little boy. They still kept in touch for a long time even when Charlie grew up. I remember hearing that when Charlie went on holiday in the times when not many people did he used to show photos of his travels and tell interesting tales about them in Ingoe Chapel. I myself remember as a child Charlie going up and down the village in his cars and he always used to wave to us kids sitting on the green. I also remember working on his farm many years ago in the summer holidays he used to give us a lift back in his tractor which we loved. Charlie also used to come down to our caravan in Ingoe and we all used to enjoy his company. I have a photo of Charlie and I on a tractor taken a long time ago which I shall treasure!
