LAWSON Thomas ( Ponteland ) Late of Kirkwhelpington. Peacefully on 2nd April 2020 aged 79 years. Tom beloved husband of the late Rita, loving father of Russell and Lindsey, grandfather to Toren. Private family graveside service to be held at St. Bartholomew's Churchyard, Kirkwhelpington.

So sad to see this , so many memories of both these lovely people, which span back some 50 years, to many to name. One of the last memories I have of both Tom and Rita, is when Tom brought Rita to see me and asked if I would work on a painting of 'Pippa' their pet jack Russel for them, we did have a good laugh that day as I could hardly make out the photograph they had brought to show me to work from, Tom said, it was the best one they had of Pippa and of course it had been a photograph from the 70tys , so you can imagine the task. It was a good job they lived next door to my family and I could remember this little tan and white Jack Russel really well. When the painting was collected by them they were delighted with the outcome. Thinking of you all Gwen Ridley
