CURRY Doreen Lowes (Scott) Haltwhistle, formerly of Hexham Peacefully in Haltwhistle War Memorial Hospital, after an illness borne with courage and dignity, on 3rd April, aged 93 years. Doreen, beloved wife of the late Wilfred (Wilf), much loved mam to Gill and her partner Jens, devoted and cherished grandma of Charly, dearly loved sister of Margeurite (Rita) and the late Gibson (Gip) and loving aunt. A lovely lady who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Service and interment at St Andrew's Cemetery, Hexham on Wednesday, 24th April at 2.00pm. Any kind donations will be shared between Macmillan Nurses and Haltwhistle War Memorial Hospital. All enquiries c/o the Co-operative Funeralcare, Haltwhistle.Tel. 01434 321755.
