TALENTED singers and dancers from across the region are being invited to take part in Idol 2008 and make their bid to break into the world of showbusiness.
This is the first time that dancers have been eligible to enter the talent contest, which last year attracted a record 10,000 applicants.
This year’s competition is open to singers, vocal groups, dancers and dance groups.
The contest takes place in Newcastle on September 7 at the Journal Tyne Theatre.
