HAVING entertained opposition from Cheshire on Saturday, Tynedale make the return trip tomorrow when they visit Sale.

The trip will take them to the plush surroundings of the 5000-capacity Heywood Road ground, former home of Premiership Sale Sharks.

Sale are one of the North West’s most affluent clubs, who own the Carrington training complex which is used by both Manchester City and Manchester United.

Like Tynedale, Sale have won one and lost three of their games this season.

They started the campaign with a 23-11 home defeat to Caldy, before going down 25-14 at Preston Grasshoppers.

The solitary bright spot was a 27-18 home success over bottom of the table Broadstreet, before they conceded seven tries in a 44-30 defeat at South Leicester on Saturday.

Tynedale‘s next home game sees them entertain old rivals Macclesfield, with whom they were relegated last season.
