TYNEDALE Colts are gunning for a cup double after breezing through the semi-finals of the Northumberland County Cup.

With their place in the Border Bowl final already secured following a last-gasp penalty from Cam Grant against Peebles Colts, the U18 side were looking to push past Percy Park to make the county showdown.

And their strong team spirit, encapsulated by the accompanying picture from Gary Robson, shone through as they thumped their Northumberland rivals 66-5 when they visited Corbridge at the weekend. The Colts look to complete the first leg of their cup journey when they travel over the Scottish borders to take on Hawick PSA in the Bowl final on Saturday. Kick off is 1.30pm.
