The final game of the season ended with the Arnold Clark sponsored Tynedale U14s successfully defending an early advantage in a hard fought and often ill-tempered contest.

Leon Quinn scored Tynedale’s try early on, and converted it himself to secure the two points that were to make all the difference.
The second half saw a reversal in fortunes and after scoring an unconverted try, Ponteland had their hosts on the back foot.
The Tynedale defence held out for a hard-earned win.
After the game, Scott Rush was presented with the Tynedale Players’ Player of the year award and Mark Baron received the clubman award in his first season at the club.
