National honours for Tynedale half backs

Tynedale's young half backs Rob Miller (left) and Ross Samson (right) have been honoured by their respective countries at U20 level.

Samson has played for Scotland in all five matches to date in the U20 Six Nations Championship, whilst Miller started his first match last week against Scotland, after appearing as a replacement against France in England's previous match.

The England v Scotland 'battle' played on Friday at Falkirk ended in a comfortable victory for the English with Rob and Ross lining up against each another from the start.

Scotland, still looking for their first victory, play Italy on today, whilst unbeaten England will be looking for the 'Grand Slam' when they take on Ireland at Gloucester on the same evening. The England match kicks off at 7.45pm and will be shown live on Sky Sports 3.
