AFTER a hard fought final with June Lomax, Val Robinson was crowned Ladies' Club Champion at Hexham.
Victory on the 20th hole separated the two close competitors, June settling for the runners-up trophy after pushing Val all the way.
Val Pesara (167) won the Centenary Salver with the best gross score over 36 holes, while the Bronze Shield went to Joan Dinning Dinning as a faultless round saw her defeat Margaret Dowdeswell in the final.
Joan also took the Bronze Salver with the best gross score over 36 holes of 102.
The Joan Swan Trophy awarded for best nett over 36 holes was won by Carole Mortimore (153).
Josh Stancer became the men's club champion with victory over junior Ross Donaldson in the final.
Paul Collingswood beat Phil Rainford to clinch the Alpha Trophy, Terry Mallon beat Ray Lillico in the final of the Inter Trophy, and Richard Nelson took the Omega Trophy.
Elsewhere, the Hexham Vases was won by John List (+4) ahead of Graham Gillespie (+4) and Richard Spence (+3).
