PRUDHOE Union Services Club B are up to second in Division One following a 7-3 victory.
The points accrued in the win over Mitford shot them up the table, following their slender 6-4 defeat to Old England Jacks.
Divisional rivals Matfen Centurions were in action against Mitford this week too, drawing the game 5-5.
In Division Four, Newton C beat Cramlington Dragons 6-4, but Matfen Cohorts went down 7-3 to Ouston C.
Matfen Tribunes picked up the win in Division Three as they edged past Brandon Bravehearts 6-4.
There was double defeat for Tynedale teams in Division Three, Matfen Senators going down 7-3 to Brandon Anacondas and Newton B losing 6-4 go Cramlington Cobras.
Newton A lost 7-3 to Cramlington Stingers in the Premier Division.
