Sean Wylie was second in the U20 race at the British Sprint Triathlon Championships in Buckinghamshire, with mother Angela third in the female 50-54 age category.
Representing RedVenom, Loughborough University student Sean was on top form in a very competitive field, his swim the highlight as he exited the water in the lead.
He backed it up with both a good cycle and run, claiming second in a time just over an hour.
One Life Racing representative Angela also caught the eye, putting in good performances across all three disciplines for a finishing time of 1:19.04.
It was a great warm-up event for her as she and fellow One Lifers Charlie and Hannah Pinkney, and Jan Oliver, prepare to head off to the upcoming European championships in Lisbon, Portugal.
