TYNEDALE Homing Society held a race from Leicester, eight members sending 162 birds. The winner, by just nine seconds, was a blue pied hen raced by Hexham's Gordon Dodd.
Prudhoe and District Homing Society were also off from Leicester with Brian Leech‘s bird first home.
