Over 140 players representing businesses and other organisations from across Tynedale teed-up for the annual charity event at Prudhoe Golf Club.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Tynedale, the golf day has raised in excess of £150,000 for worthy causes over the past 24 years.
The rotary club‘s Tom Kelsey said the event was blessed with one of the finest days of the year, in reference to the glorious sunshine which beamed down on the course.
He added: ”The support once again has been absolutely fantastic. Fine weather, and a golf course in top order contributed to a very successful day.
“There was a good atmosphere, and we are grateful to Prudhoe Golf Club for their hospitality and all of the businesses and organisations who entered teams.“
It was a memorable day for John Craig, a member of Haltwhistle, who was a late addition to the Hexham Courant team. He holed his second shot at the par four 17th hole for an unlikely eagle.
