TYNEDALE Ladies breezed into the final of the Northumberland Shield by posting double figures against North Shields.
Despite the semi-finals tie taking place during the week, Tynedale had a full squad available and it showed as they played some excellent hockey to beat their understrength opponents 11-1.
Leading scorer Sophie Darling again led the way with four goals, while both Sarah Martindale and Becca Glaister helped themselves to doubles.
Joining them on the scoresheet to help book their place in the final with Alnwick II on Sunday was Iona Hextall, Esme Gallagher and Sue Crawford. The final will take place at Morpeth.
