BUSINESS representatives from across Tynedale will turn out at Prudhoe Golf Club on Friday in support of the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
They will tee-off in the Rotary Club of Tynedale's annual charity golf day, which will take place for the 26th time.
The annual event has raised in excess of £150,000 over the years for worthy causes, with GNAAS being the main benefactor.
Teams of four will take to the fairways at Prudhoe, which is the long-standing home of the charity contest.
Teams are traditionally entered by business and organsiations, with many providing sponsorship.
Graham Pickering MBE, chief executive of GNAAS, said: "This is one of our most long-standing events and also one of the most successful in terms of fundraising.
"Money raised by this annual event has helped the most seriously ill and injured people get the care they so urgently need.
"Our crews are on shift 365 days a year. They do not want that emergency phone to ring, but they do want to be able to help when it does, and this vital fundraising enables them to do this."
This year's sponsors are: Arnold Clark, Fentimans, PCC Systems, Patricia J. Arnold Chartered Accountants, Tim Doody Ltd, William Construction Equipment, Handelsbanken, Dodds of Hexham, Louise Hunter & Associates, County Hotel Hexham, Rook Matthew Sayer.
