THE North Tyne Hunt held a terrier show and hound trails at Whiteside, by kind permission of Mr and Mrs Grieve.
It was a successful evening in spite of the weather, with 60 terriers competing for champion terrier.
A good turnout of trail hounds ran three good trails.
People travelled from within the county and also Durham and Cumbria.
Champion terrier was a Border terrier dog called Dixie, owned by Geoff Sugars from Eglingham.
Reserve champion was a crossbred terrier dog called Mick, owned by Mr Owen Balding from Tarset.
Many thanks to all sponsors, and to neighbouring farmers over whose land the hound trails ran.
