FORMER Newcastle United full back turned pundit John Beresford entertained the audience in superb style with tales from his impressive career at Prudhoe Youth Club’s recent fifth annual sports dinner at the Legion Club.

Comedian Jimmy Bright was absolutely hilarious as he rolled off a continuous stream of one liners that had the crowd in fits of laughter.

Prudhoe Youth Club F.C. wish to thank all who contributed to a great night, in the process raising valuable funds for our young footballers.

Special thanks were made to regular supporters of the annual dinner, Mickley Garage and the Doctor Syntax Pub.

A spokesman said: “Most of all though, a huge debt of gratitude is owed to organiser Graham Robinson.

“Without his hard work, commitment and contacts this event would not have been possible.”
