MAINTAINING their 100 per cent record, Prudhoe YC Reds U14 have clinched the Pin Point League Six title.

Stephen Wilson was their hero as he scored all three goals in the 3-1 win at Cullercoats, meaning the Reds, managed by Gary Dent, will finish the season without dropping a point if they win their one remaining league game.

Hexham Whites U14 came close to holding unbeaten League Four leaders Burradon as Steven Heslop netted and George Twizell was man of the match, but two late goals saw them go down 3-1.

A hat-trick from man of the match Niall Buchanan helped Haydon Bridge United U12 edge out Dudley by the odd goal in nine in League Five, Niall Milburn and Jamie Connor getting the others.

Ponteland United Panthers U12 faced double defeat to Wallsend BC Yellows and Burnopfield in League One, Josh Eglon netting a consolation in the latter game.

Ponteland United Panthers U13 continue to top League Two as two goals from Alex Nicholson and one from Lewis Ayton saw them defeat Heaton Hawks 3-0.

Ponteland United Pumas U13 will be playing League Five football next year after a 5-2 win at North Shields Reds confirmed promotion. The goals came from Joe Burns (2), Matthew Grant (2) and Ben Stevenson, while Jonny Scott was man of the match.

Harry Murray netted and goalkeeper Jack Grey was star man as Otterburn U13 lost 2-1 to Newcastle Westgate in League Five.

A headed Patrick McCleary goal was in vain for Corbridge United U13 as they lost 4-1 at Stakeford in League Four, United goalkeeper Thomas Lock named man of the match.

Following their goalless draw with Ponteland United U18 , Hexham U18 defeated Forest Hall Reds 3-0 in the Ray Knight League through goals from Robbie Pattison, Jamie Foster and man of the match Carl Fairless. United, meanwhile, went down 2-1 to Cramlington United despite a goal from Angus Shearer and a man of the match Daniel Hadfield.

Richard Brooks and Jack Stewart netted to earn Corbridge United U16 a 2-1 win over Forest Hall Eagles in League Four. Matty Pugh was man of the match.

Liam Stevenson was named man of the match for an understrength Hexham U15 side as they lost to Northburn Wanderers in League One.

Over in the NEYDL, goals from Jake Shipley and Luke Davidson saw Haltwhistle United U15 edge out Killlingworth YPC Rockets 2-1. Alex Heppell was star man.

Stocksfield U12 defeated Killingworth YPC Spartans 2-1 in the Championship courtesy of goals from Seamus Simon and Jake Shingler, with Hamish Robson man of the match.

Goalkeeper David Hewison was unable to prevent Wark U12 from losing 3-0 to Red House Farm Hawks in the Premiership despite an eye catching performance.

Two goals from Harry Keeler and one from Regan Townsend, as well as a man of the match display from Thom White, saw Prudhoe Town U13 lose by the odd goal in seen to Whickham Fellside Yellows in the Charlie Thomas Trophy.

Prudhoe YC Rockets U12 put in good performances against both Winlaton and Blaydon in the Gateshead Youth League, but lost 3-2 and 3-1 respectively.

Goalkeeper Dominic Burn was man of the match on both occasions but was pushed close by captain Sam Melton in the Winlaton game. Cameron Kirkpatrick and Marco Rea netted in that game, with Aaron Hart with the consolation in the Blaydon match-up.

James Reay hit a consolation and Marcus Chan was man of the match in Prudhoe YC Rockets U14’s 3-1 defeat to Consett Fire.

Amy Little repeated her thunderbolt goal to earn Hexham U15 all three points in the Northumberland Girls League, her’s the only goal as they faced Tynemouth United. Goalkeeper Neamh Wyse played her part too with a girl of the game display.

Shauna Johnstone was another goalkeeper impressing despite unable to spur Haltwhistle United U16 to victory as they went down to two goals to North Shields.

Hannah Johnson hit a hat-trick as Hexham U12 beat Bedlington Town Tornadoes 5-3, Joie Cawood and Jelly Dixon getting the others.

l A double from Ben Tait cancelled out a goal from Lewis Cant as Prudhoe YC Blues U13 lifted the West Division Cup at the expense of Stocksfield U13 .

Meanwhile, goals from man of the match Nick Ryan, Lewis Twizell and Lance Urwin saw Corbridge United U16 triumphant in the final against a valiant Hexham Greens U15 side playing a year below.
