HONOURS ended even in another great game between Stocksfield Lions U12 and Corbridge United U12 in the Russell Foster League.

United clawed their way back from two goals down to earn a point in the 2-2 draw in Division Five.

Stocksfield, well served by Sandy Dodgeon, were looking for revenge after losing to a last minute penalty a few weeks previous, and they started brightly with goals coming from Ellis Findlay and Charlie Bennett. However, Corbridge struck back and goals from Ralph Robson and man of the match Adam Panchyshyn means it is still all to play for as both teams fight for promotion.

Stocksfield U15 returned to action in the Durham County League by defeating Hebburn 4-1.

Dan McGrane led the way as he scored a brace, with Dan Blewitt and a 40 yard screamer from Tom Stokoe wrapping up the points.
