They picked up their first mximum point haul of the season as they defeated their guests 2-0 to make it four Wearside League points for the season.
David Burns got the ball rolling while Kosta Sada maintained his goalscoring form as he rounded the goalkeeper and slid the ball home.
The three points followed a torrid three days as they started the week with a disappointing 6-2 defeat at Boldon CA, Town below standard throughout and suitably punished.
The bright spots were provided through consolation goals from David Wansell and striker Arron Fletcher, who also netted for Prudhoe two days later as they went down 5-2 to Silksworth Colliery Welfare.
It was an improved performance but they still ended on the losing side, Fletcher joined on the scoresheet by Sada.
