HALTWHISTLE Jubilee are gearing towards another quadruple.

The dominant team of the past five seasons are looking to bow out of Sunday League by retaining all four trophies they last won in 2015, and they are one step away after completing the treble by securing the President’s Cup.

With the league title and KO Cup crown already in the bag, they made it three with a solid 4-0 victory over Division Two title hopefuls Ryton Country House .

Greg Irwin, Dan Kirkup, Mark Robson and Shaun Johnstone got the goals to secure the silverware was heading west, with Hexham Phoenix standing in their way of the quadruple when the teams contest the League Cup final on May 14.

For a hard working Ryton side, Adam Bell starred.

Bardon Mill Bowes Lyons secured fourth spot in Division One as a 2-2 draw with runners-up Heddon St Andrew’s meant they couldn’t be caught by their rivals.

Michael Oliver and Adam Walton scored, and Neil McDonald was man of the match, while Ross Bailey and Sean Hownam netted for Heddon, who were best served by Kieran Taylor.

Unless Ryton defeat Rose and Crown Bellingham by an 18 goal margin on Sunday, Haydon Bridge Anchor are champions of Division Two.

A 2-0 victory, courtesy of strikes from Kieran Robley and Paul Wilson, over Bellingham on Tuesday evening put Bridge three points clear of the long time leaders, and extended their superior goal difference by two with just one game outstanding. Defender Gavin Boyd was named man of the match for keeping the hosts out, meaning the title winning party can now get under way for the west Tynedale side.

A 5-1 victory over Ponteland Village couldn’t prevent Ponteland United Stamfordham from finishing bottom of the pile.

A four point deduction earlier in the season proved a huge downfall as they couldn’t climb off the foot of the table, Gary Cook scoring twice and man of the match Jake Lynch, Matty Robinson and Reece Havelock-Brown also registering on the final day. James Pattison scored for Village, with Richard Irwin star man.

Man of the match Shaun Lyall hit a double and Scott Turley and Nathan Jones also got their names on the scoresheet as Adam and Eve Prudhoe defeated Rose and Crown Bellingham 4-2.
