HITTING a treble, goal scoring supremo Stacey Billinghurst helped Wylam Rockettes U12 to a comfortable victory over Wideopen.

Named girl of the game for her hat-trick exploits, she starred as Wylam defeated their Northumberland Girls League rivals 7-1.

Josie Fenwick helped herself to a brace with Katy Cheesman and Lauren Talbot also notching for the resurgent Rockettes.

Trailing by two goals to Whitley Coast Soccer on two occasions, Wylam Rockettes U14 roared back to earn a 3-3 draw.

Grace Stanton reduced arrears with a fantastic solo goal, but Whitley restored their two goal advantage as the game looked out of reach for the away side.

However, Wylam again came fighting back and Abby Brown got a goal back before Emma Rankin leveled the game with a long range effort.

Wylam pushed on in the last five minutes but could not find the winner, while goalkeeper Isobel Flynn was named girl of the game for her part in keeping them in the game.

The 5-0 scoreline was harsh on Wylam Rockettes U15 as they lost at home to Montagu and North Fenham, three goals coming late on as the hosts tired. Once again, Izzy McKenna was girl of the game for Rockettes as she was a constant thorn in her opponents’ side.
