PRUDHOE Social Club moved ahead at the top of the Hexham and District Sunday League table.

But their lead is just one point after they shared the spoils in their trip to near neighbours Halfway House Prudhoe, the teams drawing 2-2.

Halfway’s goals came from Harry Mitchell and an own goal, while Andy Sagar and Graeme Hudspith netted for Social.

Mark Clark was named the home side‘s man of the match, with Marc Sagar earning the accolade for the visitors.

Jordan Martlew hit a hat-trick as Ryton Social Club moved into second spot in Division Two, now trailing leaders Heddon St Andrew’s by just two points.

Defender David Tremble was star man for his role in keeping the clean sheet in the 3-0 win over Adam and Eve Prudhoe, who had Nathan Moore starring.
