ALSTON Moor Sports Club have the opportunity to move into the promotion places in Division Two of the Crook and District League.

They welcome second bottom Stanhope Town Sports and Social Club to Tyne Willows tonight (27/04), knowing that victory puts them well in the mix to finish in the required top three. A draw will also see them jump to third on goal difference.

In Division One of the Northern Alliance, Hexham host Gosforth Bohemians while Ponteland United face the trip to Lindisfarne Custom Planet. Prudhoe YC Seniors are at home to Cramlington United in Division Two.

Prudhoe Town face a difficult trip to sixth placed Hartlepool in the Wearside League, and Ponteland United Reserves play host to Blyth Town Development in the Tyneside Amateur League.
