For the ex-Carlisle United midfielder was named in the Football Manager League Two Team of the Season after an impressive campaign with Blackpool.
The 22-year-old has become a real fans’ favourite at Bloomfield Road since signing from United at the beginning of the 2015-2016 season, and he has weighed in with 12 goals and nine assists this year.
Potts, who grew up in the North Tyne and attended Haydon Bridge High School, has been instrumental in pushing the Tangerines up the table, and they are currently fighting to earn a place in the play-off positions.
Potts was named in the team of the year alongside Blackpool teammate Kelvin Mellor, a recent acquisition from Plymouth Argyle.
