PONTELAND United PSG U15 jumped to the top of League One with a comprehensive victory over Blyth Spartans.

With Will Scott scoring four and Jamie Clark three, with Reece Wilson also netting, they turned on the style to go level at the top, with a superior goal difference putting them ahead of Walker Central. Will Jenkins was picked as man of the match.

Prudhoe YC Reds U15 weren’t able to take advantage of League Five leaders Newcastle Westgate’s defeat, as they too lost at the weekend with Theo Hayward hitting a consolation in the 3-1 defeat to Heaton Hawks Falcons. Stephen Wilson impressed for Prudhoe.

Doubles from man of the match Joe Crozier and Ben Milner, and a single from Josh Trewitt, helped Corbridge United U15 to all three points on their trip to Burradon in League Three.

Both Ethan Dickinson and Owen White scored twice as Haydon Bridge United U15 beat Cramlington Town Yellows 4-1 in League Four. Mitchell Sloan was their star man.

A double from Colin Somerville and singles from Callum Hurd and Ollie Bell, as well as a man of the match display from Dan Mann, earned Ponteland United Pumas U15 a 4-0 victory at Ellington.

Corbridge United U14 were five minutes away from winning League Five as they led Whitley Bay BC Blacks 3-2 through two goals from Vinne Styles and one from Harry Murray.

Stocksfield U14 made progress in the Saturday League Cup as they stunned hosts Wallsend, Lewis Cant with three and Archie Leonard and Joe Glenwright with two goals each. Matthew Catnach was named star man.

Man of the match Mike Watts and Jack Muncer struck to earn Hexham U16 a point as they shared four goals with Red House Farm Kites in League Two.

Goals from star man Nick Ryan and Matthew Percival just fell short for Corbridge United U17 as they were edged out 3-2 by Cullercoats in League Three.

Stocksfield Lions U12 returned to the top of Division Five of the Russell Foster League as two goals Ellis Findlay and one each from Joel Garvin Dawson and Charlie Bennett, plus a man of the match display from Sandy Dodgeon, earned them a 4-0 win over Houghton-le-Spring.

A brace from Ben Ramsey and strikes from Dan McGrane and Finn Batey saw Stocksfield U15 defeated Durham County League challengers Sunderland 4-0. Stocksfield then went on to book their place in the final of the West Division Youth U16 Cup, overcoming the challenge of Prudhoe YC Reds who were best served by impressive goalkeeper Jack Nelson.

Logan Fawcett, Tom Stokoe, Ben Milner, Ben Ramsey, Joe Crozier, Dan Blewitt and Dan McGrane all registered for a rampant Stocksfield.
