PRUDHOE YC Reds U15 made it two wins from two in League Five as two late goals helped them to a 5-2 win over Morpeth Town Panthers.

In a close game, strikes from Billy Taylor and Nathan Dent in the final 10 minutes made sure of a consecutive maximum points haul for six points from a possible six.

The goals came with the game in the balance at 3-2, two goals from man of the match James Raey and one from Alex Hall putting Prudhoe in control.

Owen White continued his great start to the season for Haydon Bridge United U15 as he struck four times in his side’s 7-4 victory at Redheugh Boys in League Four.

Earning the man of the match award, he led the way and was joined on the scoresheet by Liam Oliver, who scored a brace, and Tom Anderson.

Charlie Kendall hit a consolation and Tom Bull was man of the match as Ponteland United Pumas U15 went down 2-1 to Heaton Hawks.

Star man Will Jenkins hit two and Ben Robson one in Ponteland United PSG U15’s 3-0 win over Wallsend BC Yellows in League One, but goals from man of the match Ben Milner and Josh Trewitt were in vain for Corbridge United U15 as they lost to Alnwick Town in League Three.

Adam Pogson was on fire for Prudhoe YC Yellows U16 as the man of the match’s two goals saw his side to a 2-0 win at Morpteth Town Galaxy in the League Challenge Shield.

Two goals from man of the match Ben Stokoe weren’t enough for Hexham U16 as they lost to the odd goal in five to Monkseaton in the League Cup, with Ponteland United Panthers U16 also crashing out as they went down 5-1 at Longhoughton Rangers with Kian Parker getting their goal and Liam McCormack named star man.

Ben Ridley, Cameron Richardson, Jake Lynch, Aaron Hardy and Jake Howdon were all on target as Prudhoe YC Blues U14 defeated North Shields Athletic 5-2 in the Northumberland FA Colts Cup.

They are joined in the next round by Ponteland United Pumas U14 who put four without reply past Whitley Bay BC Yellows, while Haydon Bridge United U14 were awarded a walkover as they were due to travel to Blyth Rangers Valencia.

Ponteland United Panthers U14 shared four goals with Newcastle City Inter in League One.

Prudhoe YC Flames U12 were again in goal scoring mood as four goals from Mason Pine, two from Toby Douglas and one from Oliver Cave earned them a 7-4 victory over Newcastle East End Blues in League Two. Divisional rivals Ponteland United Munich U12 beat Whitley Bay BC Blues 3-0 as Joseph Nicholson, Sam Bullock and Beni Ayuk netted and Thomas Scougall starred.

Doubles from Joe Martin and Tom Murray, and singles from man of the match Connor Rock and Callum Armstrong saw Otterburn U12 to a 6-3 win over Walbottle in League Seven, but Stocksfield Eagles U12 lost heavily to Montagu Reds in League Four.

Niall Buchanan and Jamie Connor both bagged braces as Haydon Bridge Untied U13 beat Alnwick Town Pythons 6-4 in League Five. Kian McKinnel and Shay Dickinson also netted, while Hamish Carney was man of the match.

Jake McPherson hit a consolation and Cameron Whiteley was star man in Corbridge United U18’s 4-1 loss at Ashington in the Nigel Voules League, while George Arkley was Corbridge United U17’s star man in their 3-0 reversal at Red House Farm Storm in the League Challenge Shield.
