CHRISTINE Murray was on song for Tynedale Ladies as her four goals moved the team one place higher in the North East Women‘s Premier Division.
The striker they call ’Crid‘ was in fantastic form as she spearheaded the 4-2 victory over bottom side Castleford White Rose Ladies.
The success in their first league game for 13 weeks lifted Tynedale out of the bottom two, and one place and one point above Sheffield United Community Ladies into 10th spot.
They are now 10 points clear of troubled Castleford, and it sets the Ladies up nicely for their tough home game with fifth placed Scunthorpe and Bottesford Ladies on Sunday.
