HEXHAM Hunters U12 made light work of their prey as they recorded a thumping victory in the Championship.

They put hosts West Allotment Celtic Eagles to the sword in a high scoring affair, James Little scoring four and man of the match Nelson DaSilva, Dan Connolly and Harry Davis all scoring three.

Dan Twizell and Oliver Cave bagged doubles, with Christopher Fenwick also scoring.

Hexham Hornets U12 were also big winners on the day by seeing off the challenge of Cullercoats.

Hexham Hawks U12 had a tough morning at Killingworth YPC Rangers in the Premier League, with goals from man of the match Rohan Taheem and Jake Robson in consolation.

Angus Buchanan was Corbridge United U13’s goal machine as he scored five of his side’s goals in the 6-2 victory over Tyne Valley rivals Hexham Whites U13 Championship. The man of the match was joined on the scoresheet by teammate Corey Dover.

There was victory for Stocksfield U13 with a double from star man Freddie Marr and a single from Ayden Knott seeing them to a 3-1 victory at Ashington Eagles.

Jake Reed gave Allendale U13 the lead over Monkseaton in the Premier League but they went on to lose the fixture, despite Ellis Bradley starring in goal for the hosts.
