HAYDON Bridge United U12 jumped up a place in Pin Point League Five after a fantastic 4-1 win at Ellington.

Jamie Connor, Jordan Reynolds, Will Thornhilll and man of the match Brandon Bland got their goals which moved them nine points clear of the bottom two.

Ponteland United Pythons U12 progressed in the League Cup as Ollie Scott scored twice and Adam Newton once in their 3-1 victory over Blyth Town. Josh Eglon was man of the match.

Ponteland United PSG U14 breezed into the next round too as they defeated Red House Farm Eagles 6-1, Will Scott with two goals with Sam Carson, Oliver Robson, Jamie Clark and goalkeeper Hugo Banks also scoring. Jake Hurn was man of the match.

Man of the match Nathan Dent led the way with four goals as Prudhoe YC Reds U14 were big winners over Grainger Park Pythons in League Six. Joining him on the scoresheet were Theo Hayward, Stephen Wilson and Tom Stokoe.

Hexham Whites U14 did everything but score as they lost 3-0 at home to Newcastle East End Reds in League Four, hitting the crossbar and post and missing golden chances despite Steven Heslop being named star man.

Joey Robson netted a consolation for Haydon Bridge United U14 as they lost 4-1 to Blackfyne in League Three, Owen White earning the man of the match accolade.

Dan Hadfield was star man as his four goals helped Ponteland United U18 to a convincing victory over Forest Hall Reds in the Ray Knight League. Teammate Daniel Brown helped himself to a hat-trick, with Dan Potter, Jonny Younger and Will Thomson also netting.

Josh McLennan netted for Corbridge United U18 as they went down 3-1 away to Morpeth SC Madrid in the Nigel Voules League.

Ponteland United Panthers U13 were rampant in their trip to Wallsend BC Greens in League Two, Alex Nicholson, Dom Gilhepsie and Callum Geoghan on the scoresheet.

A valiant performance from League Two side  Prudhoe YC Blues U13 saw them just fall short at Division One title challengers Wallsend BC Yellows, losing to the only goal to be eliminated from the county cup despite a man of the match display from Chris Lewis.

Otterburn U13 were awarded the three points in League Five as hosts Cramlington Town Yellows were unable to field a side.

Tony Tarbitt scored for  Ponteland United Panthers U15 as they were edged out 2-1 by Longhoughton Rangers in League Two, while Prudhoe YC Yellows U15 were eliminated from the Challenge Shield despite battling against the higher-ranked Stakeford, midfielder Jason Waters named man of the match.

Corbridge United U16 lost 3-1 to Ryton and Crawcrook in League Four with Matty Pugh on target and Jack Stewart man of the match, while Cam Whitley was star man for Corbridge United U17 as they went down to Longhoughton Rangers in League Three.
