A LAST gasp leveller from James Dixon earned Prudhoe YC Rockets U12 a draw with Craghead in the Gateshead Youth League.
In an end-to-end match-up where leading marksman Marco Rea had netted twice, it was James‘ equaliser in the last minute which secured the 3-3 draw. Dominic Burn was man of the match.
Prudhoe YC Galaxy U12 maintained their good form courtesy of a 3-1 win over Felling Blacks, Jack Swinburn with two goals, Callum Pattinson with one and centre half Matthew Robson earning the man of the match award.
Ponteland United Pythons U12 ran away with it as they came up against Winlaton, man of the match Lewis Merrilees leading the way with five goals.
Owen Latimer scored two with Sam Fairhurst, Godwin Chickwem and Jake Clayton also netting, with an own goal rubbing the salt in the wound for Winlaton.
James Reay hit the back of the net twice in Prudhoe YC Rockets U14’s 5-2 defeat to Whickham, with ‘Stripey’ Dan Cuthbert also starring.
Harry Keeler recorded a consolation goal for Prudhoe Town U13 as they went down 4-1 to Harton and Westoe, Cam Green named Town‘s man of the match.
