CORBRIDGE United U15 breezed into the final four of the League Shield.

For two goals from Ben Milner and Alex Hannant, and singles from man of the match Calum Armstrong and Josh Trewitt saw them to a 6-1 victory over Heaton Hawks in the quarter-finals.

Ponteland United PSG U15 made progress in the League Cup as goals from Will Morris, Jamie Clark and Will Jenkins helped them to a 3-1 win over Newcastle City Milan. Oliver Robson was man of the match.

Owen White hit a consolation and Tom Anderson was star man in Haydon Bridge United U15’s 3-1 loss to West Denton Flyers in League Four.

It was a day to forget for Prudhoe YC Reds U15 as they were knocked out of the League Trophy after going down 5-2 to Morpeth Town Panthers, their goals coming from Stephen Wilson and Adam Johnson, and Nathan Dent being named star man.

Louis Youngman scored twice and man of the match Lewis Twizell, George Cook, Matty Pugh, Aaron Smith and Matthew Percival all netted as Corbridge United U17 turned on the style to defeat Newbiggin Hall in League Three.

Mason Pine scored three, Ollie Cave got two and Toby Douglas one as Prudhoe YC Flames U12 put six without reply past Division Two rivals Ponteland United Munich U12 . David Neuman was named star man, with Thomas Scougall earning Ponteland’s equivalent.

Connor Rock hit a hat-trick and Bradley Sinclair also scored, but it could not prevent Otterburn U12 losing 6-4 to Wallsend in League Seven. Thomas Murray was man of the match, with Kirstie Dodd girl of the game.

Will Collinson scored the only goal in the last five minutes to see Stocksfield Eagles U12 to three points over Morpeth Town. Goalkeeper Adam Panchyshyn was named man of the match as some tremendous saves kept his side in the game.

Doubles from man of the match Archie Leonard and Lewis Cant maintained Stocksfield U14’s great form in the Saturday League, with teammate Jake Lynch also registering in the 5-1 victory at Cramlington Town.

A hat-trick from Jamie Connor and singles from Kian McKinnel, Brandon Bland, Niall Milburn and Will Thornhill, and a man of the match display from Scott Hawkins, saw Haydon Bridge United U13 to a comfortable victory over Newcastle West End Blacks in League Five.

Red House Farm Falcons equalised with the last kick of the game to deny Ponteland United Vipers U13 all three points in League Four. Alex Nuttal and man of the match Jude Mattera got the goals for Pont.

A hat-trick from Cameron Robson and strikes from Archie Richardson, Josh Burville and Ben Doughty saw Haydon Bridge United U14 progress in the League Shield.

The team were also indebted to man of the match goalkeeper Matty Scott during the 6-4 win over Red House Farm Kites.

Thomas Robinson was man of the match as Prudhoe YC Blues U14 lost to the only goal to South Shields Santos in the League Cup, while Ponteland United Panthers U14 conceded their Colts Cup tie with Montagu Blues.

Corbridge United U14 were on song as they beat Forest Hall Redskins 5-0 in the League Shield, man of the match Connor Allan scoring twice and Alistair Kirkwood, Levi Hodgson and Matty Fenwick one apiece.

Meanwhile, Ponteland United Pumas U14 shaded Newcastle Westgate Warriors 2-1 in League Five.

A hat-trick from star man Dan Blewitt and a goal from Dan McGrane steered Stocksfield U15 to a tremendous 4-0 victory over Chester-le-Street in the Durham County League Cup.
