TWO goals from Archie Leonard earned Prudhoe YC Blues U14 a fantastic 2-0 win in League One.

The brace from the man of the match saw his side to the victory against a strong Bedlington Town Vipers, the three points secured after a brilliant all-round team performance.

While only having nine players due to holidays and injuries, Haydon Bridge United U14 pulled off a great 4-2 triumph at Stakeford in League Four.

Prudhoe YC Reds U15 went top of League Five with a late winner in the 2-1 victory over Newcastle Westgate.

Man of the match James Reay pounced with minutes remaining to send home the deciding goal, just moments after Alex Hall had cleared a Westgate effort off the line. Stephen Wilson’s early opener had been cancelled out, before James burst the net for all three points.

Goals from Colin Sommerville, Dom McKeown and Chris Mason, and a man of the match display from Charlie Kendall, saw Ponteland United Pumas U15 edge out West Denton Flyers 3-2 in League Four.

Will Scott and Will Morris were on target as Ponteland United PSG U15 progressed in the Northumberland FA McDonalds Cup, the duo earning their side, who were best served by Scott Shepherd, a 2-0 triumph at Wallsend BC Yellows.

Haydon Bridge United U13 maintained their excellent form in League Five by putting five without reply past visitors Dudley and Weetslade.

Shay Dickinson scored a hat-trick and Niall Buchanan the other two, while Bridge goalkeeper James Hare was named star man for a string of top saves, particularly in the first half with the scores level.

Two goals from Oliver Cave and one from Thomas Eden earned Prudhoe YC Flames U12 a 3-1 victory over Whitley Bay BC Blues in League Two. Louis Davison was man of the match. A Jay Jay Spratt double saw Ponteland United U12 to a 3-0 victory at Blyth Rangers Deportivo in the same division. The man of the match was joined on the scoresheet by teammate Joseph Nicholson.

Two goals from Connor Rock and one each from Tom Murray and Bradley Sinclair earned Otterburn U12 a 4-2 victory over Blyth Town.

Ross Brooks hit a consolation and Jack Rochester was man of the match for Ponteland United Panthers U16 as they were edged out 2-1 at home to Red House Farm Kites in League Two.
