STOCKSFIELD U13 ran riot as they inflicted a heavy defeat on Championship rivals West Allotment Spartans.

With Freddie Marr hitting a hat-trick and man of the match Matthew Parkes, Ben Brown, Ayden Knott and Daniel Lazenby all joining him on the scoresheet, they breezed their way to all three points.

It was Freddie’s fifth goal in the opening two games of the campaign, going with the double he scored on the opening day to move Stocksfield to four points.

Corbridge United U13 lost by the odd goal in three at Ryton and Crawcrook Albion, while Hexham Whites U13 were well beaten by Walker Central Blues.

Man of the match Niall Buchanan scored twice for Hexham Greens U13 as they defeated Monkseaton 4-2 in the Premier League. Jamie Connor and Adam Newton also netted in a game which saw goalkeeper James Hare make two great stops and Alex Waters make a goal-line clearance.

Ben Wood hit a consolation and Seth Robbie was star man in Hexham Hawks U12’s 4-1 loss to Forest Hall Red Dragons in the Premier League, while Hexham Hornets U12 enjoyed bragging rights as they edged out club counterparts Hexham Hunters U12 in a nine-goal thriller in the Championship.
