HAYDON Bridge United U14 progressed in the West Division Cup as they enjoyed victory in a high scoring encounter.

They defeated Tynedale rivals Prudhoe YC Reds U14 9-4 in an entertaining match-up, Nathan Hassett leading the way with a hat-trick.

Ethan Dickinson and Liam Oliver both scored two, and Ewan Wishart and Owen White one each, with Tom Johnson at the double and Alex Hall and man of the match Nathan Dent both on target for Prudhoe.

There was victory for Otterburn U13 in the divisional cup too as man of the match Harry Murray hit three in the 6-3 triumph over Corbridge United U13 . There were also strikes from Jack MacNeil, Jack Grey and Kareem Turnbull.

Callum Dronfield, Jack Stewart and Matty Pugh registered as Corbridge United U16 defeated Grainger Park 3-1 in Pin Point League Four. Richard Brooks was star man.

There was a double from Callum Duncan and a single from man of the match Bradley Lowes as Hexham U18 edged out Newcastle East End 3-2 in League One.

The honours were even in League Four as Lucas Fyfe and man of the match Steven Heslop were on target in Hexham Whites U14‘s 2-2 draw with Bedlington.

Ponteland United Pythons U12 went nap to make the next round of the Central Youth Division Cup, as man of the match Josh Eglon and Adam Newton hit two goals each and Ollie Scott and Lewis Merrilees also registered in the 6-0 demolition of Red House Farm Falcons.

Two goals from Godwin Chikwen and one each from Lewis Merrilees and Josh Eglon, Ollie Scott and Owen Latimer saw Ponteland United Pythons U12 defeat Montagu 6-4 in the Gateshead Youth League. Sam Bullock was man of the match.

Man of the match Brodey Pusey, Bradley Powton, Charlie Katsighiras-Welton, Liam Potts and Jack Swinburn were on target as Prudhoe YC Galaxy U12 slammed five without reply past Redheugh Blacks.

Ellen Packham scored her 100th goal for the club as she helped Wylam Rockettes U16 return to winning ways in the Northumberland Girls League.

She netted twice in the 4-2 win over Blyth Town, and was joined on the scoresheet by girl of the game Becky Lynch and Tanya Bewley.

Girl of the game Emma Rankin scored a superb wonder goal after beating two players to continue Wylam Rockettes U14’s good form as they beat Heaton Hawks by the only goal.

A hat-trick from Lottie Murphy saw Wylam Rockettes U13 run out 5-1 winners over Newcastle Westgate. Rosie Bell and Caitlin Maddison also netted, while Ellie Tiffin starred throughout.

A double from Josie Fenwick saw Wylam Rockettes U12 lead Bedlington Town Devils 2-1 at half time but the day ended in frustration as they went down 3-2 despite Stacey Billinghurst putting in a girl of the game display.

Wylam Rockettes U15 were blown away by a strong Bedlington Town Bulldogs side, Izzy Mckenna star of the show for the hard working Wylam.
