STOCKSFIELD U15 lost for the first time this season as they were shaded out by the odd goal in five in the Gateshead Youth League.

Angus Graham and Lewis Cant netted but their goals were in vain as they lost 3-2 to Whickham Fellside Yellows.

Prudhoe YC Galaxy U14 went goal crazy as they put Redheugh Blacks to the sword in the League Cup.

Alex Henderson scored twice, with man of the match Ben Ellison, Brody Pusey, Owen Dent, Jack Swinburn, Jak Fairley and Bradley Powton also registering.

In the same competition, Ponteland United Blues U14 defeated Blaydon Community 2-0.

Zak Campbell hit a consolation for Prudhoe YC Tigers U13 as they lost 6-1 to Ponteland United U13 in the Bridges League. Will Collinson was named Prudhoe’s man of the match.

Ponteland's goal came from a hat-trick by Beni Ayuk, and one each for Guy Stewart, Zak Old and Joseph Nicholson. Ponteland's man of the match was Joseph Clark.

Prudhoe YC U16 were unfortunate to lose to the odd goal in their 2-1 loss to Montagu and North Fenham Blues, Connor Gillon getting their goal and Marcus Chan named star man.

Meanwhile, Wylam U12 faced a tricky day as they went head-to-head with Redheugh Reds in the Bridges League Cup.

In the Russell Foster League, a double from man of the match Sandy Dodgeon helped Stocksfield Lions U13 to a 4-2 victory over Wrekenton Nou Camp Blues.

Ellis Findlay and an own goal were also registered as Stockfield picked up the points.

Their Tyne Valley rivals, Corbridge United U13, however, went down to the only goal of the game against Sunderland’s SR Dons YC.
