THE silverware went to Hexham Phoenix after a pulsating cup final victory over Haydon Bridge Anchor on Sunday.
The sides were locked at 2-2 after normal time in the final of the Hexham & District Sunday League Division One Cup, at Kimberly Park in Prudhoe.
With no extra time in this competition, the game went to penalties after 90 minutes, with Hexham winning the shoot-out 4-2.
