They didn’t lose a wicket to Ryton II in the Northumberland and Tyneside League as they breezed to victory, bowling their guests all out for just 73 runs.
Teenager Euan Stephenson caused no end of problems to the Ryton batsmen as he claimed four wickets for just 15 runs. He was the pick of hte bunch from the six bowler, who all finished with wickets to their name.
In reply, openers Paul Scandle and Ben Griffiths were the only batters needed as they both reached 35 not out to find the winning runs in 14 overs.
It was a tough end for Stocksfield III who finished sixth in Division B2, removed for just 62 runs at home to Seaton Burn II on their way to a seven wicket defeat. Trevor Walker (17) and Matthew Bewick (13), playing his first game of the season after a long injury lay-off, were the only ones to make double figures.
Burn managed to end the game in 26 overs in reply, Steven Page (1-9), Ben Ridley (1-13) and Cameron Richardson (1-19) taking wickets in consolation for Stocks.
Corbridge II were five wicket victors over Bomarsund II as they finished the campaign on a high.
With Harry Oliver (3-34) and Chris Todd (3-22) taking three wickets each, and captain Chris Jowsey (2-17) two, they had Bomarsund all out for 120.
Guided by an unbeaten half century from Graeme Tiffin (51*), and good knocks from Simon Walker (20) and Jowsey (22*), they won it in the 33rd over.
