TYNEDALE schools swept the board at this year‘s Northumberland Cricket Board Chance to Compete Year 7/8 County finals.

Ovingham Middle School won the boys’ competition defeating Ponteland Middle School in the final game of the day to bring home the title.

In the girls‘ festival, a three way tie between Berwick Middle, Ponteland Middle and St. Joseph’s Middle, in Hexham, was decided with a super over competition and it was St. Joseph’s who came out on top.

The girls head to York for the regional finals.
