Tied on 27 points with Stocksfield, they were rewarded the title on net run rate as they enjoyed a higher score of 2.28 to the runners-up's total of 1.47.

Helping to secure the title on the final day, Humshaugh (192-5) defeated Haltwhistle (142-14) for their seventh victory of the campaign.

Stocksfield (182-6) matched them all the way and also won seven encounters, including the final day success over Haydonians (156-9).

Finishing in third, Tynedale (199-6) finished the season with victory over Matfen (157-5).
