Tynedale sucked into the relegation mire

ANOTHER defeat on Saturday has left Tynedale first XI dipping their toes into the murky relegation waters this season.
They hope for a change of fortune tomorrow, when they entertain fellow strugglers Leadgate.
While Tynedale have struggled in the Wellstream Northumberland Tyneside League, it has been a great season for Corbridge first XI.
After yo-yoing between divisions in recent seasons, they are now leading the Three Counties Northumberland League Premier Division.
It’s tight at the top though, with only four points separating the top four clubs.
Corbridge’s opponents at the Stanners tomorrow are mid-table Bomarsund.
