Professional Graham still missing at halfway point

PROFESSIONAL Stuart Graham is still missing from the Tynedale first team ranks when they travel to Ryton tomorrow in the league.

However, his team-mates are on good heart following Saturday’s morale-boosting win over Ashington.

The game marks the start of the second half of the season, and Tynedale are hoping to start to climb the Wellstream Northumberland and Tyneside League table.

There is cricketing action at Prior’s Flat on Sunday, when the West Tyne League representative side entertain the Wellstream Northumberland and Tyneside League in the Connoisseur Wilkinson cup.

The West Tyne Under 21 side are also in action on Sunday in a rearranged K.V. Computer Services Cup tie against the Durham Senior League.

With home advantage, both West Tyne sides are looking for strong support from cricket fans.

An added attraction in the senior game is that the Northumberland and Tyneside League are captained by one P. Collingwood - not England’s Paul, but his brother Peter!
