WHEN Hexham Rowing Club's senior team returned with five national gold medals, the club were staggered by their remarkable efforts against their illustrious opponents.
But they returned to the GB National Masters Rowing Championships in Nottingham and bettered their haul, coming back with six gold and two silver medals.
